VISA FOR TCHAD
A valid passport is required for all French citizens and foreign nationals entering Chad.
If you are a French national, you need an entry visa for Tchad.
Nationals of the following countries with an ordinary passport are exempt from visas if stay of less than 90 days: Burkina Faso, Cameroon, Central African Republic, Congo Brazzaville, Ivory Coast, Gabon, Mauritania, Niger, Nigeria, Senegal and Togo
The Tchad visa is valid from the date of arrival mentioned on the application form for visa for a period of 30 days, arrival and departure must take place during this period. The authorized length of stay is 30 days.
Health protocol
Airports have reopened to commercial flights.
If you are fully vaccinated, you can enter Tchad without having to undergo testing or quarantine.
You must present proof of your full vaccination to enter Tchad.
If you are not fully vaccinated, you will need to show proof of a negative PCR test (taken no later than 96 hours before entry) in order to enter Tchad.
Children under 12 do not need to show proof of vaccination to enter Tchad.
